God, You have so much to see to;
So many things to do
But it seems a very light thing;
No effort, Lord, for You
World affairs, trouble everywhere,
Problems through the day
Yet this morning, you turned my way,
Just to hear me pray
You see to me and all that may concern me
For my little woes, You hover close,
And listen patiently
You have focused Your attention
On my every situation

You're very near the child who has
A bleeding, broken heart
That's why You've come to me today
And You've lingered tenderly
